The Alex bag measures approximately 12 inches wide at the top, 11.25 inches tall, and 4 by 8 inches at the bottom. The straps are normally 20 inches long, and while they can fit over your shoulder, I find this length is better for carrying it by the handles. If you would like to use it as a shoulder bag, please let me know and I will be sure to make the handles longer. This bag works well as a smaller sized diaper bag or as a purse. This bag looks best when at least some ribbon is used, and I like it with the fringe as well. There are 1-2 pockets inside, and these are sewn into 2-3 sections.
